Tim travelled to Rockhampton for Beef Week from the 2nd of May to the 9th. It's a great time for everything beef with around 70000 visitors over the week from across Australia and around the world.
We entered a 20 month old bull 'The Ultimate Cadet' into the Junior Bull class with a result of 3rd.
The highlight of the week was the Stonegrill Restaurant which served Murray Grey beef supplied by The Ultimate on the Wednesday 6th May. Tim enjoyed both lunch and dinner and by all accounts the meat was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
...Fresh, delicious. We are not experts but we could taste that these steaks are high quality..

An opportunity too good to miss arose in December 2007 to purchase the pick of Lindsay Murray Greys breeders. We travelled to Casterton and selected 14 outstanding cows and calves that will further enhance our ever improving female families. These are big volume, structurally correct ladies.
In addition to this we have acquired the last of the Madonna Downs herd. Saving the best till last, they included some outstanding frame 7 cows. We are very pleased with the purchase.
Sensational Sons Sizzle at 08 Five Star
The quality of Monterey Sensational's sons shone through at the Five Star sale in August. Commercial cattlemen appreciated their dynamic potential with the extra volume and muscle they exhibited. They made up four of the five top priced bulls, with nine of them selling for an average of $4333.
